The Project

2 crews, 3 days, 22 locations, 84 cast members, and a whole lot of San Antonio. That’s what it took to accomplish this unique :90 campaign spot (with many cutdowns) with only 2 weeks of prep for San Antonio’s tourism board - Visit San Antonio. The campaign was written by Sergio Alcocer of Rest of the World Agency, and then masterfully brought to life by our Director, Samuel Li. From storyboards to production, each of our 26 scenes needed special attention to make them feel unique to San Antonio, yet distinct enough from other scenes to showcase the wide variety of experiences that San Antonio can offer. Every department contributed to making this true - Art, Wardrobe, Casting, Locations, and G&E. Each day was a marathon of variety that still needed to fit within one creatively cohesive campaign. We could not have done this without our Main Unit Director of Photography - Cole Becker, who worked hand-in-hand with Samuel to establish a visual language across both filming units. Finally, our friends at Concourse helped us find the perfect colorist (Eric Moraes) and Animation/VFX artists for our titles and image clean-up, and the folks at BAM Studios worked their audio magic to make this feel like a full sensory experience.
